Porn enhances relationships

According to the angry girl website, porn damages relationships.  This could not be further from the truth. No matter how you look at it, porn enhances couples relationships.  I would strongly recommend that every couple sit down and watch porn together. Following is some inciteful ways to spice up your lovemaking backed by professionals in the field of relationship building.

Men enjoy watching pornography and woman like to watch soap operas and read romance novels.  I remember being a teenager and reading Harlequin romances and feeling my body become warm all over.  I imagined what it would be like to be touched by a man like the ladies in the book and couldn't wait for that to happen.  I also enjoyed watching soap operas especially General Hospital and Days of Our Lives.  I wanted a romance like Luck and Laura and Bo and Hope.  You all know the ones, where the guy would lay down their lives for the girl of their dreams time and time… and time again.  And when she is saved, they embrace and have this passionate love scene unfold right there on my screen. Aahhhh, what that would be like.

As for the men, they don't go for the sappy stuff.   They enjoy watching naked woman getting all hot and bothered and catering to their man in any way their guy wants it.  And they visualize their woman doing it to them and they get aroused.

Most people would claim that this would hurt one's relationship, but the only websites I find that profess such remarks are those sponsored by Christians.  For the most part, Christian fanatics argue against almost anything that would give people pleasure. But the truth is that porn actually enhances the relationship between the two, especially when the novelty of a new relationship wears away. The couple become too familiar with one another. They can finish each others sentences and know what their reactions would be to certain circumstances.  Nothing is new, nothing is spontaneous anymore.

There are so many different styles of porn that could enhance their relationship.  By sharing their time together watching pornography, they can bond and become closer.  Most people feel awkward discussing their sex lives with one another. Watching porn opens the door for more interaction and discussion.

Based on my experiences, my husband would turn the Playboy channel on and after watching for a while we would be turned on too.  And things would unfold from there.  Passion was always at its highest after watching a porn show. According to advice columnist, Judith Reitz, on the Conscious Living website, "Even in a good relationship, people (especially, it seems, men) enjoy a little variety to spice up their sex lives. Rather than get that variety outside the relationship, some prefer fantasy, movies, etc."

Missionary positions become boring as well.  Couples can get ideas from what they see on the screen.  I remember watching one show where I had to tilt my head a little to the left and my mouth was open in amazement and I just wondered how could that feel good?  You don't have to try it all but it certainly opens up the possibility for experimentation. Being openminded is the key to a successful relationship. According to Susan Quillam in her article from the ivillage website, one of her 25 tips for relationship success includes #6, telling woman to "teach him, preferably early in your relationship, exactly how to give you a fail-safe orgasm because it's unlikely he'll find out alone. If you don't yet know yourself, find out." One way to do this is through masterbation. In order to get in the mood for that, one may opt to watch pornography to experiment with what is best for them.

Another benefit to porn besides the variety it adds, is the turn on factor for woman who have a hard time with getting in the mood. (Dr. Phil sites "for men, the time between the idea of sex and their ability to orgasm is 2.8 minutes.  The problem is that for woman, the average time is just over 14 minutes.") As a mother of 2 children, my mind is not on sex during the day.  My husband's is never off it.  He doesn't understand why I don't think of it more.  But that is just how my mind works.  I am too busy throughout the day to think about it.  So when the day is done, I am not rearing to go as much as he is.  The wind could blow and he is good to go!  It takes a while for me to get on board.  Watching a porn movie can give me the start I need.  Anyone who cannot get turned on by watching sex have other issues they need to deal with.  It's not the pornography, its them.

On this website, the piece on How to Partner a Successful Relationship, Debbie Mandel, MA, confims this by telling us, "Get real! In the beginning romance and fantasy are synonymous. However, daily relationships, which entail household chores like dirty laundry, smell of reality. Partners need to lower their expectations. No one is perfect and everyone changes. Bring fantasy into the bedroom." One good way to do that is to watch porn and buy some fun toys to enhance your sex life.  Lotions, gels and powders do wonders to spice up activities in the bedroom.

For those that argue pornography belittles woman, or their man enjoys other woman's looks more than theirs and they can never live up to that image or that their man needs porn to get them turned on is overthinking this too much.  Just like woman place themselves in a romance novel, men place themselves in the porn movie.  If you respect one another, you will do what it takes to satisfy each other.
