If you like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain

I was reading the aggregator and came across this post by A Porn A Day Keeps the Doctor Away.

I immediately thought of the song "Escape" by Jimmy Buffet.  It is best to read the lyrics if you are not familiar with the song.  This one site has music playing in the background and this other site has a "compatibility test" you can link to.

I am very big into the trust issue.  I am so afraid of one day waking up and finding out that who I thought was trustworthy was in all essence not.  Being from Long Island, but I am sure it was news all over, the Amy Fisher story comes to mind and the quote. "not my Joey" from Mary Jo Buttafuoco.  My God, woman, the signs were all there.  But yet, here she was defending her husband. Then there was First Lady Hillary denying her husband's transgressions, yet it was all there to see plain as day.  So, I am terrified at times that I may have my head in the sand too.  But I just have to trust my instincts and those that I love.

I just absolutely love this song, because every once in a while you will daydream and think what if….I mean you love the person you are with, but what if things – circumstances – were different.  And then look!  Both were lacking intimacy, both went searching for it, and they both met up with one another again – they just got caught up in the everyday and missed what was right there in front of them.  Hopefully, all those addicted to cybersex, or other forms of pornography wake up and realize what they need may just be under their nose. They don't need to escape!

I just clicked on my link to take the compatibility test, but realized in its place is a new banner ad. Sorry! Check back from time to time, it may come back!

Escape is a Rupert Holmes song.
